Presentation Skills Lesson

The above video is my client’s first run at screen casting for a presentation option in  her marketing business.  I am so glad that I chose this lesson plan as a commercial application!  In our class we often touched on making classroom lessons applicable to real life skills; teaching adults already out in the business world these tools is exactly that.  The client was amazed at the potential for using presentation software and publishing on the web.  Meeting standards was not a factor here, but the standard of engaging and competing in an actual market for HVAC adapters in medical facilities is her goal.  We are going to continue to refine both the PowerPoint and video, and create others that apply to school buildings as well.

PowerPoint and Screen casting skills Prepared By Debra White		This client is promoting a product that requires teaching about the scientific backing for a product.  It is our goal to create PowerPoint slides that are educational, engaging, and persuasive.  This will also be screen cast recorded to allow for asynchronous presentation as well.

Activity		The PowerPoint that was created will be voice-over recorded successfully.  Screen cast-o-matic will be demonstrated and used by client.		Create a short PowerPoint and script for a 5-10 minute presentation. Screen cast a video of same.
